Last night I was outside hunting when suddenly I felt the splash of enormous raindrops. I made a run for it and luckily got inside before the rain really came down.
I found mum watching TV and Josie watching mum. Every now and then mum sneaked a peek at Josie and found those green eyes still focussed on her. After a while she said, "You have to stop staring at me Josie. It's freaking me out."
Turns out ever since Josie found out about mum and her not knowing the right way to breathe she's been very worried about her and thinks she must keep watching in case mum needs reminding how.
Time for the Tobester to step in as neither looked very happy. I scrambled up on to the table. "I can run to the front door and back in less than one second. Watch me go!" And I did - the fact the table is shiny and I skidded back on to it doesn't mean I wasn't there.
I was just the distraction they needed. Mum got out my toy box and was throwing my foam balls and mice for me to chase. We haven't played that game in months aqnd I had forgottn how much fun it is. Josie joined in and I don't think you could have found a happier home in the whole wide world than ours last night.

Awwww, what a happy evening you all had.
Good job on providing a distraction!
Hmmm. I think Josie is in telepathic contact with aliens.
