Scary cat

Mum thinks it may be the full moon but I am very active at the moment. Josie and I played such a cool game of chase yesterday that both our tails went fluff which made my mum laugh. And at night I decided I didn't want the tame quiet of my mum's bed; I wanted night-time adventure.

Apparently night-time adventure isn't one of my options though as the door was locked shut so I had to stay in.

So this morning I had a mere sniff of my breakfast and I asked for mum to unlock the door and free me to the wild and she did. Off I went, nose aquiver for the scents and sounds of my fellow adventurers and then I saw her. That tortie cat who has been in the area so I turned tail and was back through that magic door like a torpedoe.

She chased me and would have come in but our door held firm. I was safe. For now.

Mum says she thinks the cat looks rather sweet. We saw her on Sunday too and she tried to come in then. We had a paddy paw fight - only it was through the glass of the door so no-one got hurt and she gave up in the end.

Mum says she is even smaller than me but it's not the size that counts - ask Josie! Mum thinks she must be a young kitty recently let out as she seems to be looked after. Mum thinks we could be friends but I don't. One tortie in my life is quite enough.
