Hello. My name is Toby and today I moved to a new home. I had a very happy home with my mum but my human family have to go abroad and because us kittens are too young to vaccinate we can't go with them.

So today someone came and she put me in a box and off we went. I did not like being in the box and I was calling for my mum but then we came here.

I think I will like it here and the only time I have called out is when I got myself lost under some cushions.

There is another cat here, she looked at me and she growled. I wasn't sure what best to do so I scrambled on the person's lap which felt pretty safe. I've spent quite a lot of time on that lap since, purring and snoozing and some playing. And I've been running around playing too. I have also had some supper. The other cat looks in every now and then. I hoped she would join in the game but when I ran towards her she ran away. I don't know why she would be afraid of me as she is a lot bigger than me.

Time for another sleep. It's tiring being an explorer.

Toby - how wonderful that you have a beautiful family and very very loving mom! Don't worry about Josie, she just needs an adjustment. I know, because I was new not so long ago and the big kitties in my house growl sometimes, too. But before long they get curious and start doing things like playing under the door and stuff. You are beautiful!
