Arrival Story:
We were given Mesha in June of 1995 by a person who I went to high school with. She had just too many cats and we offered to take one off of her hands. Mesha is the one we ended up with. Mesha got her name because her previous owner called her Ouija (wee-ja) and we thought it sounded like Mesha. In any case, the new name stuck because we often "yelled" it at her when she scratched the door casings.
