Cool Cardboard ScratchersAugust 4th 2012 9:48 am[ View A Comments (21) ]
Zack and I are really into cardboard lately. I already mentioned the cool Catty Stacks in my previous diary. We play in them every day fur sure. I want to share some other neat cardboard scratchers our pawrents found for us.
We like cardboard scratchers too, although some of us, ahem (Ivan) like to chew on them too. Mom gets annoyed though because we leave a mess of shredded cardboard around. You guys always have such cool stuff. Mom's definitely thinking Kitty Blocks for us! :) Hi Skylar! Even though we put our teeth marks in it, Mom doesn't think we chew too much because there isn't much mess. These products have a lot of layers of cardboard so pretty hearty. Uncle Tigger, so cool!! You would luv Kitty Blocks!! Tigger you can see more pictures on their Facebook page.. http://www.facebook.com/mykittyblock Those look like fun! *starts packing his suitcase* Hi Jezebel! Scratching can be lots of fun! Hi Newman! It won't take you too long to get here from AZ.(at least compared to KY) We'll leave the light on! They look like fun, think I need to talk to Mom about getting us one of those....maybe we won't use the carpet.. Hi Princess Tu Two! You know with all the scratchers we had, I would still luv to scratch on the couch. (It didn't bother Mom and Dad as I can do no wrong - MOL!) Dad noticed that with these cardboard scratchers that I don't seem to do that hardly at all anymore. I think these cardboard scratchers give a more satisfied scratch! We really get into it. And I love hanging around on them :) They do look like they'd be fun to scratch on! Oh, thinking of you guys again - a whole family troop of people came into the bookstore letting the pawrents know they had found the geocache. The Mama wonders now if maybe there are instructions on the web to come in and tell them, because so far it seems like they all have! That is cute the geocachers are coming in to tell the Mama and the Papa that they found the cache. I wonder too. Do you know if there is a name to the cache? Mommy could try looking it up and then she could read the comments. Maybe on the little logbook it would say a name or number on it. I am glad they keep make you think of us!!! Don't know - don't remember seeing anything on the slip of paper in there. Will check. Also, will try to remember to ask the next geocachers. Samhain, that is a great idea to either look or ask them. Then we can look it up online and see if they post pictures or who hid it etc. Samhain, that is a great idea to either look or ask them. They're calling it BOOK THIS ONE: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp x?guid=1c4974c7-fb37-4c01-bd59-3e935b0cd8f8 Samhain, GREAT detective work!! Can you read the comments. Mom joined (free version) even if she doesn't geocache. I like this recent comment: "What a neat place! We had already driven past when the GPSr indicated we had just mised a cache. So, we turned around and went back to the GZ---and discovered a real treasure! Went in and met the pleasant owners, then grabbed the cache and returned inside to do some shopping. This was another one of those times where geocaching introduced us to a great place that we wouldn't otherwise have visited. Thanks for bringing us here!" and "TFTC (thanks for the cache) stopped by and thanked the owner" and "Nice hide, nice store. Said hi to the owner's wife." and "Very nice cache love the book store in this town the owner is so nice everyone should stop in and check it out." I haven't read all the logs yet. Wow, very good for business! And someone was even in your bookstore and decided to look up nearby geocaches on their phone and found one right outside your door! Oh yes, here is what the placer of the geocache wrote in the beginning: "placed with permission and located on store property. After cache is found stop in the store and say howdy to the owner. He is aware the cache is there." Cool!! |
