Arrival Story:
Poor Fuzzy Max...his original owner abandoned him! My grandma found him in 2002 during the winter. He was cold, hungry and lonely. :-( We don't know how long he was outside...but when she found him, she noticed one of his eyes was injured (has a scar like something stabbed/poked his eye). No one claimed him, so she asked if I wanted to keep him (said yes). My aunt paid for his vet bills...vet was able to tell us Max was around 2 yrs old, already fixed, and overall in good health. I named him Max by reading names from a baby naming book to him! Max was the only name he responded to hehe.
Bio:
Max HATES to be alone (another reason why we think he was abandoned). He panics if everyone leaves him alone in a room; he'll move to a room w/someone in it. Max loooves my fiance...so we're guessing his old owner must have been something like him! My fiance is the only person Max is completely nice to. He likes my family and is nicer to us as time goes by, but he still doesn't like if we pay too much attention to him. He likes to sleep and do his own thing...as long as you're there in the room with him (so he's sure you won't abandon him)! He gets along REALLY well w/Milo; they play and wrestle a lot! hehe
