Arrival Story:
Shakespeare was a stray, and was waiting for us to arrive at the beach house my girlfriend and I rented in Mrytle Beach for vacation in August, 2007. He was a kitten, approximately 8 weeks old, was less than 2lbs, and was a very sick little guy. He had an upper respiratory infection, and had a bad oozing from his right eye. My girlfriend took him to see a Vet at the Pet Smart in Myrtle Beach, and she gave us an antibiotc for him. We took him into the house, and gave him a litter box. We knew we couldn't leave him there, so he took the ride up I95 to New Jersey with us, and has been living with me since. Shakespeare has been from Myrtle Beach to Bar Harbor Maine, and he loves to go camping with us in our travel trailer !!

Shakespeare is an odd eyed Turkish Angora, with one blue, and one green. I believe he is deaf on the blue side. Shakespeare has turned into the perfect pet. He has a great personality, and sense of humor. True to the description for the breed, he reponds to voice commands, and loves to play fetch. He is a little overweight, but we are trying to get that under control.
