Oh kitties, it's a sad sad day. I have sad sad news to report. Sigh. I wish I didn't have to tell you this kitties, it makes my little eyes water just thinking about it but I must, it is important you all know this. My mommy... has put me... back on my diet.

Luv, Tink Oh dear Simone, I'm am so chubby too and so is Shelly. We had to start eating a diet-light food too. Theres no complaints here yet though. My mom is making me go back on my diet too and she said no more people food. :( she said I was spoiled on our vacation and now I've got a bit of a belly sway. That is so terrible Simone Purrs Rex I feel your pain....I too need watch my weight. Mom has trouble lifting me. At night she makes me exerise by doing the laser pointer up and down the steps. One day mom decided to do an experiment and just give me food whenever I wanted it. And I always wanted it! I was never full! It is really dry food that makes kitties gain weight. I rarely ever get dry, only as a special treat. Has your mom ever looked at the website catinfo.org? it is written by a vet and has great info about cat nutrition. That's just awful, Simone! I think you're perfect just the way you are. OMC! You scared me I thought how has went to the bridge now. But, it was just a diet. You don't look chunky. You know Mommys' know these things though. Mom has cut back on Diamonds food and uped her time outside, everybody kept saying she's getting fat. Mom and Dad was in denial for a while but Mom sees it now. Rose and I are on a diet too! Mama called me Lumpy Loki today! Hisses! I send you comforting purrs... We are not fat! we are purrfection in plus size! Now I must flop down and pout. Oh Zoe I thought someone had gone to the bridge too! I am sorry you have to diet MoeMOe that is a most awful word! I never been on one of those I am the the tiny mighty moemoe, I love love love to run jump climb and chse that little furry mouse or spider on a string. You shoud try it OMC's it is tooo fun! Tiny (silly name for that cat) even likes to run and chase it. Even Boo! yea she thinks she is such a lady too but she goes for it. I sure hope you are successful with the diet quickly. Yeah don't do that! You scared the pee pee out of me too! Sheesh! Toki, just so ya know, Simone's mommy knows all about that stuff because she belongs to my mom's newsletter and my mom preaches this stuff up the whazoo! So HOPEFULLY she's being good and feeding her the right stuff or my mommy is gonna come and steal Simone and bring her here. Hey...that sounds fun! Be right over Simone! My mom gets very worried about things like this because her last cat before me was BIG- 15 pounds on a small frame, and she got sick because of it. My mom even wiped her bum (cat's bum, not my mom's hehe) with baby wipes because she couldn't reach to groom that area herself. Concats on being DDP today Simone. Purrs Max Oh dears, sorry kitties! Didn't mean to make you think that, it's just that a diet is the very worse thing that could ever happen to me in my opinion! Finney... if you steal me make sure you take River too! We're a bonded pair! We need to be together. I don't really care but he'll get sick if we aren't together and I know you guys don't want that! hehehe! The biggest problem with my weight is what happened to me before mommy. I was an abused breeder who cranked out lots and lots of litters for profit. I'm a tiny frame girl but I have really stretched out furr and skin and my hips are use to carrying a heavier girl. It's just so easy for me to put on weight. I seem to hit around 12-13 pounds and just stay there no matter what, I SHOULD only be around 10 though, so that's the problem. It's just really hard for me to stay at 10 pounds, my natural weight seems to be much higher. Last time I was put on a diet the stress involved was so bad that the vet and mommy opted that I should be heavier if it was easier on my stress levels. They are hoping that this time with the calming collars seeming to work so well that it all works out better. I'd like to be a healthy weight and live a longer life but mommy and the vet judge everything by my quality of life involved. Let's keep our paws crossed for me this time around! So far so good though, no stress attacks related to empty food bowl syndrome yet! Yeah...saying something like 'sad news' is pretty scary stuff just about now. I feel your pain, Simone. Mom's been cutting back on my food too. We both get Colette's low-fat, low cal kibble, but now Mom is giving me less wet food for supper. I'm not all that much bigger, framewise, than Keshy was, but I'm almost double her weight. Concats on your DDP honor! Greeeow! Moe Moe, I am sorry. I love food and Mom says I have to watch what I eat. I always say: Look who's talking, he he. You have to take it very slow with the weight loss. Be patient. Do you have a baby scale? The only time Doc. has even mentioned diet for me was when we first moved into our house. Mom asked him if I could be stress eating.. He thought sense I never had a weight problem it was possible. Mom worries about cancer with me a lot cause I stay too skinny and had some other indicators. But Doc. doesn't seem to be worried. Mom is a worry wort some times. I feel and act fine! I bet your mom would really miss you too heheheh, I can joke about it Booboo but it's true, mommy would never let anyone take me away! She'd miss me WAY too much, and probably River too! hehehe!
