Arrival Story:
Some "person" dumped this baby at the tender age of 4 weeks and he landed in a high kill shelter. I was going to just foster him, but, when I saw how the other cats lined up to play with him from day one, I knew he was a keeper and wasn't going anywhere :) Again, I was a foster failure. Owen brings such joy into this household.

Bio:
As you can see, it's hard to get a picture of Owen alone. He's always hanging with the "big boys"....... the first picture he's with Drew, who is one of Owen's favorite playmates. They are about 4 mos or so apart in age. Notice, Owen has chewed off whiskers. Some kind of weird ritual, I think. A couple of days later, the little whiskers had been chomped down to mere stumps. I guess the "big boys" had their own private initiation into the family :) They finally grew back in - yay! Isn't he handsome? The white beauty is Yuma, another foster-failure baby. Yuma and Owen were pulled the same day, from the same shelter. They are still VERY close, even though Yuma is twice Owen's size. In the last two picutres, Owen and a current foster, Howie, are going at it. Owen is pleased he has someone smaller to kill :)
