Arrival Story: After losing my beloved half Turk Peewee I decided I HAD to have another Turkish Angora. They're a truly unique breed; not much to look at some might say, but their personalities are something very special (often called "the border collies of the cat world"; very intelligent, intensely loving, and , well...hyper). Anymore they are somewhat rare to find outside of Turkey ; the Turkish government now forbids their export because the breed is considered sacred (the prophet Mohammed was said to have owned five TAs), and there are few breeders remaining in the states.I scoured the country for five months, but every Turk I tried to adopt was either snatched up right away, or didn't seem to be a good fit with my other two cats. So I finally gave up the quest to adopt and bought Puck from a breeder in CA who told me that she was a male (she was so tiny, it was hard to tell), but when she went in the be neutered, she came back spayed!
Puck a true tomboy, not a "Queen". She's wildly affectionate, intelligent, loving, excentric and most certainly "Puckish". She charms and entertains visitors, often carrying on conversations with people using chirps, mews, and odd little chatters while wiggling her top lip. She's always cracking us up!

Bio: Puck was recently featured on a trading card in Blue cat food. She can also be seen on www.mycathatesyou.com (though she's never hated anyone). ;-)
Puck is also seeking a Turkish Angora or half Turk playmate. If you know an adoptable young, affectionate, intelligent male Turk or half Turk, please send Puck a private message.
