Etsy is a virtual playground for fun, stylish, handmade goodies. I won’t lie: I’ve fallen into the Etsy rabbit hole and haven’t emerged for several hours. And there’s no shortage of cat-themed items featured by some pretty artistic merchants.
If you’re searching for a unique gift for a fellow cat lover, look no further. We’ve found 10 that you just have to see for yourself. Go ahead … see!
Show me a cat wearing a pirate-style eye patch and the image will entertain me for days. It’s true! Tell me you don’t smile when you look at the guy on this sterling silver medallion. Plus, he’s wearing stripes and little boots. Come on!
This necklace comes with a choice of type and length of chain … or you can buy the pendant all by itself. The pendant, by the way, displays tiny stars on the reverse side.
Arrr! Give meowl your treasure!
This adorable handmade felted cat bag is the perfect everyday accessory. It’s big enough to hold keys, wallet, sunglasses, and even a tablet. And there are two inside pockets. I’m a total sucker for bags with pockets. I carry so much stuff that I can barely find my keys when I need them. Pockets give me a place to stow my keys, phone, or other need-to-access-quickly item.
It comes in gray and black, and features a stylish kitty with a swirly tail. Isn’t she cute?
“Hey, cat — hold all my calls!” That’s what I’d say if I kept my phone in this cute little phone case. It’s made of soft felt and is hand-stitched with love. This particular case is brown; however, the site indicates you can contact the seller for a custom case.
This phony feline holds iPhones, Androids, and Galaxy phones.
The lucky cat keychain is the least expensive item on this list, but I have to say it’s my favorite. I’m a huge fan of vintage cat prints, and these particular kittens are carrying four-leaf clovers in their mouths! How cute is that?
The image is printed on premium photo paper and protected with durable, scratch-resistant epoxy resin. I love that it’s a cat keychain and it’s scratch resistant. Ha ha.
You may have seen this engraved, beechwood rolling pin going around social media the last few weeks. Cat lovers are going gaga over the tiny-kitty pattern, and I found it here on Etsy just for you. It comes in a variety of sizes and includes “a wonderful recipe for cookies.” Shut up and take my money!
Here’s why I think this 16-by-22-inch silkscreen art print is boss:
- It’s pro-black-cat and anti-superstitions.
- The cat is wearing giant glasses.
- Books! Yay!
I featured this mug in a Catster.com shopping guide at some point in the last year, and just had to include it again because it was a hit with readers. We cat lovers know the slow blink is a cat’s way of saying, “I love you.” Someone grab a paper towel because my heart just officially melted.
Oh, and it comes in two sizes!
Not in the mood for coffee or tea? How about some wine? I have a feeling even the cheapest wine would taste fancy in these hand-painted glasses, which are available in both stemmed or stemless.
A glass of mrrr-lot, please.
I’m a little biased with regard to this T-shirt because my husband owns one, and my friend’s Etsy business, RCTees, handmakes them. I can tell you it wears well and my husband hear lots of fun compliments when he wears it.
You know what I think would be a cute T-shirt design? Catman and Robin. A cat and a bird — get it? RCTees should get on that one.
Your cat already steals your pillow, so you might as well have cases with cat art on them. These cases are 300-thread count and and feature an original, water-based ink design. I think if you place your head just so on one of the cases, you’d look like you have cat ears. Bonus!
