Thank you all for the wonderful gifts and Holiday wishes. We have computer problems and most of the time the old computersaurus Rex will just not load Catster..No money for a new one or repairs so we creep along..we just wanted to stop by and meow well wishes and thank yous and many purrs for all of our friends.
Mama would love to thank each one of you who sent gifts for our pages but it is impossible with this pc so please know we appreciate them all!

My Health is good

Greetings My Loyal and Loving Friends
I am fine. I have been to the vet 4 days in a row and so far no fever nor any bad things going on. However Mama and Elise have decided if I do the fever thing again, they are taking me to get a second opinion. We like our vet, but Mama says sometimes even vets can get bogged down. So I will keep taking the 120 mg of clavamox daily for another 11 days. Plus I am must be on a diet of wet food, no more dry, due to being pre-diabetic. Mama is having some issues with switching us to wet food as Jasmine and TC and Rose are not big on wet food, so if you have ANY suggestions on feeding 7 cats in a small home let us know.
and I am feeling well enough now to rule with Ye Olde Smacky Paw!

Morning vet update

Greetings my Loyal and Loving friends
My vet has informed Mama I am a conundrum. My fever is gone. Poof. 24 hours. She says she has never dealt with this before. Most cats and dogs who tend to spike fevers of unknown origins and run them for a week, once or twice a year. But I am doing this every 21 days, and the fever is gone after 24 hours. She says animals do not get 24 hour bugs like humans. Plus my fever is always high then just as quick gone. So she wants the vet college to look into this. She wants to let me finish my antibiotics, then see if I do the fever again. If I do, I am to go in and be under constant observation. Then we will do blood cultures and more blood work. Sheesh, I am ancient Egyptian Cat Royalty is all. I must channel a lot of power to be ME!

Oh and my plagues are working. Upon arriving at the clinic it was just covered in grasshoppers which the vet said just appeared overnight. She was perplexed. I was vexed as those things were suppose to be bigger. Curses upon that old tome I found. Gotta re calibrate some things.
I am eating OK and drank water and am going potty, which seems to make Mama extremely happy. That woman needs to get to sewing but she has used up her allowance on my needs, which of course is most important.MOL

My Vet Visit

Greetings My Loyal and Loving friends
I have returned from the vet. I was there all day with an IV and had my urine ,My ROYAL URINE stolen from the ROYAL URINE Holder.
First, my temp was 106. They are calling it Fever of unknown origins, for now I am back on clavamox for a week.
My glucose was normal BUT my vet wishes to treat me as pre diabetic. So I will be on a wet food diet and lose some weight. I will have to be checked monthly for any changes. IF my fever returns I must have blood cultures run, xrays and other horrible tortures. I will go back to the vet the next two days to have my temp taken and be monitored. The vet called me a high stress type feline, who is susceptible to illness. Mama muttered something that sounded like High Maintenance. Hmmmph..I meow I am High Born and quite ROYAL!
Please keep me in your purrs my friends. I will need them.
THANK YOU ALL for your love and support and gifts and POTP! Mama will thank you properly. Give the old gal time, she is not well either. HEY! Maybe she is high stressed too! MOL

Not again

I have started feeling bad again. Mama took my temp, no fever but the vet says I must come in tomorrow or if I do get a temp I will come in ASAP. Please purr for me. Mama feels she jinxed me by posting in my diary how well I am doing and I was till just awhile ago. I thank you all for the purrs.

Tests soon

Greetings My loyal loving friends
I will be going back in in two weeks for my tests for diabetes. Just when my gorgeous fur is growing back in, I will have to have it shaved once more. That is fine as I have a brand new ancient tome of curses and plagues I found under a big rock in Bubastis last week on one of my visits to that magic place of cats.
I am well though I must meow. I gained back those few ounces I lost and my Royal Blue fur is shiny and gleaming! I am chasing the other cats and dispensing My Royal Punishments to those deserving, and they all are. Except for Redd Catt, whom I believe with all my ancient heart, is the feline reincarnation of the Kraken! Sheesh that olde furt is mean!
And that fat squishy ginja ninja got her nasty paws all dirty scrabbling under the front door! Mama made her furious when she cleaned them..MOL Just seeing IT squatting on the counter looking all sour makes me happy! MOL MOL
Please keep SOBE in your purrs as he is feeling a bit under the weather. I think he has kitten poisoning, hey, it can happen!

My Health

Greetings My loyal and loving friends
Some of you are asking about me, so I will meow as of now, I am good. I finished my meds and had the abscess lanced and drained and I am not running fever. I feel pretty good. I will be going back to the vet for those tests for diabetes about mid August. Mama is saving up extra money as she thinks if I test positive, she may have my brother, litter mate, Chef Rooster tested too. For her own peace of mind. She is a worrier, my Mama.
She needs to hurry up and get our Etsy shop going. But she says that takes money and she is on a budget so hopefully by fall we will have it stocked with some cat pillows and Chef's very own line of food related cat nip toys! Elise will be making jewelry as well. It is called Cat Charming.
Mama has RA so she moves slowly. I swear snails could beat Mama in a race..MOL
So there you have it my friends! I have you all to thank for my speedy recovery, as I believe your purrs and POTP did the trick!
I will go now as I must defend my realm from sneaky fat ninjas!
She had her claws clipped today and by Bastet's silvery whiskers, she is MAD! MOL
