Arrival Story:
Andrea and I went to the Human Society one day, just for fun. We walked into the area where they keep the cats and kittens. I looked at the first row of cages, and saw at the bottom right... the most cutest thing I will ever see in my life. I took her out gently, and she meowed enthusiastically. Right away, my heart was hers, and she snuggled under my chin. Andrea looked at the other cats, and I just held onto the one I had. After a while, Andrea took her and I felt this HUGE piece of my heart missing. She gave the kitty back to me, and we decided to try and get my boyfriend to drop the rule 'No more cats'. Andrea and Dallas both had one, why can't I, we reasoned. He said no, and wasn't budging. We left, with me really depressed. We got a block away, Dallas phoned again. He had caved in. I was allowed to get a cat!! We went back in, and I scooped her up, and Andrea told me to play with her in the playroom, while she waited in line to get the adoption forms. After everything... I knew she was my little daughter, and we've never been apart since.

I'm soo excited! My ma helped me create this diary. So, now we both have places to put our thoughts in!
Yesterday, was an ordinary day. Until the kiddies showed up. I guess they call it All Hallow's Eve, or Halloween. They were all dressed up in different costumes. It was strange. Oreo tried to run out the door, but Ma wouldn't let him. Oreo, he's my brother. We play together all the time. There's also Zyprexa, he's a black cat. He's strong and smells of the outdoors a lot.
My Ma invited me in the shower the other day, and after, I hopped into the tub and played with the water droplets. I love bathtubs. And sinks! And anywhere I can crawl into. Sometimes I get into trouble, but I always do what I want anyway.
Mary-Ann has a habit of locking me in the laundry room. But, that's okay. I like to look out the windows, and see the birds sometimes. I always get in trouble when I sneak into the tool room. Ma yells at me. Then, picks me up and kisses me. I guess she's worried that I'll get hurt. I don't though, so I always go back to look. There's tons of hiding places there.
