Arrival Story:
We took in this kitty last October.. Our (my brother's, technically) cat had passed away recently and I had not told most of my friends yet. When I was going to a friend's house, her sister asked me if I wanted a cat! Apparently the cat's owner was neglecting her and no longer wanted her and so my friends took her in, but she was staying in their bathroom as they had 4 other cats... They were going to take her to a shelter if no one wanted her, so we took her home to foster or keep her.... When we got her she had mats on her back because no one had brushed her, but we were able to brush those out very easily.
She was neglected by her old owners who my friend rescued her from, basically they just set out food for her but did not pay any attention to her or give her affection. She is overweight, but she is also a big cat (she needs to lose about 2 pounds.)

Sneakers has the cutest white "milk moustache" on her face!
She is very very sweet and will purr at the drop of a hat. However she also will HISS very easily! Very fickle cat...
She loves to cuddle and climb into peoples laps and is very friendly with anyone as long as they don't pet her where she doesn't want to be!
She gets along ok with my dogs except for "Zim" my foster Shih Tzu puppy, who thought she was a chew toy. Luckily for Sneakers, "Zim" has now found a great new permanent home.
