I Became an Angel TodayNovember 18th 2011 1:34 pm[ View A Comments (16) ] Grub,s mum Lyn here, Im sorry , heart broken ..to say Grub became an Angel today.. He had a strange illness, From having his bladder unblocked on Monday ..to this, today.. I would never have thought Grub would become an Angel in 4 days ..He baffled the vets as the kidney and Liver issues should not have occured.. there was no reason for this.. Grubs bloods on monday told us his kidneys ,liver etc were all as normal .Grub was only a young cat. The next bloods told us the bad news,, Grub was in total Kidney failure,,and yesterday evening his Liver tests were bad..there was no obvious reasons for this happening, Grub was a fit healthy cat who was a bit prone to crystals and was due ,once over this bout ,,to have the surgery to help stop the crystals problem.. Today..Grub became an Angel ..My Tears fall freely as my Angel Grub ,s Star shines down upon us. Tonight..Grub is Resting in the Arms of Angels. Fly Free Dear Grubby.We miss you so much.. Purring softly, Morticia & Momkatt Laura & the NC Gang Thankyou Morticia, Laura, ..I wish I could understand WHY .There was no reason for this...Grub ..organs just decided to close down ..from being fit,active on Sunday ,,to having a bit of a bladder issue on Monday ..to this Today ..I wish I could understand it .. The Vets are all totally baffled as Grubs test results are all //were all comming back in "reverse order" .. He should have shown his kidney results as being bad with the first set of bloods..not showing them as normal, same with liver . Grub did a reversal of his results.. .I had to let him go ..there was no hope of a recovery. He was comfortable through out thiese past 4 days,,grub was on pain meds and sedated,He was not feeling any pain.. Just seeing Pink Elephats instead..but he knew I was with him every time I was visiting . He even tried to jump from his hospital cage into his carrier..typical Grub.. ..I have his two fave toys, two small balls which Grub loved, Im going to try and find a nice box to keep them in,,but that will have to wait til im feeling "right" to look for one.. It may well be after my op in december..or Jan when I hope to be a bit more mobile from the op. Ive got them in a drawer for now. Grub tried to play with them when he was home for his night care.. Just wish I had a reason ,,I need to try and understand Why .. Chin rubs to Morticia, hugs to mum Laura. Grub, we join with your mom today in sadness. last night, i was playing, planning on my 5th birthday next month. Today, out of the blue, i joined with you at the bridge. Purrs for your family, from ours. Today, we are as one ohh Tigger,, Why did you cross so suddenly..your family had no warning ,, My heart goes out to your mum and family.. I know their hearts are breaking also. Grub and Tigger are Resting in the Arms of Angels.. Free to run and play forever.. Im SO Sorry, Sending you HUGE hugs purrs and prayers.
