Arrival Story: Update: Zoot has been adopted by Nancy and her husband, who have two other cats and a Brittany Spaniel. She will be going to her new home in Iowa on the first weekend of January 2008.
Zoot is one of a litter of 5 kittens born to Pretty Girl, a friendly stray I was planning to take in for TNR. She had her kittens about 2 days after I took her in. Each of the kittens looks different from one another. They're all still young enough that sexing isn't dead certain (with the possible exception of Sweet Pea, a tortoiseshell who's almost certainly female).

Bio: Zoot is a shorthaired kitten with thick, plush fur. He has been the first in his litter in everything; first crawling around, first walking, first eyes opened, first greeting me at the door, you name it, he's gotta be first! He's the most active and playful of the bunch, a seemingly endless fountain of energy. I think he's going to need a home with lots of play and activity, and possibly a playmate of some sort. He may be too pushy for some other cats' taste, though, so think carefully if you already have a shy, retiring, or very elderly cat. He might, however, be the perfect match for a home with a more active or outgoing cat, or a dog (as long as the dog doesn't have a strong prey drive).
He's very friendly! He wants to run right up to you when you walk in the door. From what I can tell so far, he may have as much need for attention and activity as a typical Abyssinian - that is, a lot! I think he's also very bright; he tends to learn things quickly.
Zoot will be neutered before adoption. I apologize that I don't have more pictures of him; he doesn't stay in one place long enough for the camera to focus on him!
