Arrival Story:
I had just gotten my first bachelorette apt and I wanted a cat. I went to the local Petsmart and I spotted her right away. I held her, she held me. The society's rep. said that no one else had shown an interest in her and that she seemed to take to me immediately. She's been my best-friend for 11 years now. Her name was already given to her by the society that fostered her. She had a litter of kits shortly after being taken in so she was named Mommy kitty. I had later talked to the actual foster mom and said that she called her Mamie. It stuck.
