An old christmas card from us

We hope you all have a great holiday, with great friends, great company and all that makes us feel good inside. If any of you are on your own, Go and knock on the door of a neighbour or someone else that is also on their own. You never know it maybe fun and it'll more than likely make their day. Just like a hug from a stranger, a smile? It's amazing how something so little can make their day.
Not to mention lots and lots pats for the cats

When the human lived in Christchurch (many moons ago with Balty)They had no family around so they used to let everyone know that was on their own to met at Hagley Park (it was a large park in the centre of town). They would say bring a plate/ or not, and they would have a large picnic with fun and games with anyone who turned up. They were great and we used to have a ball. Now they still invite others over for the day that are on their own but those days at the park were great as you could invite anyone even strangers. But I suppose we were lucky it's summer and we were able to do that. For some reason it was always a lovely hot fine day on the 25th.
