It seems I am a single dude again. I noticed the other day that my Smudglet and her Angel bro, Bob, have disappeared from Catster. *sigh*
I don't know why they left. We haven't been in touch for ages and ages. I hope they left because they just didn't feel they'd have even a smidgen of time to spend here anymore. I sure hope nothing has happened to Smudge, although I know some time ago her mummy said she wasn't well...
This family was one of our first real friends on Catster. It's sad to see them go...

I'm such a mature dude now. I turned 6 whole years old yesterday! I had a pawsome birthday. I got extra PureBites treats, got my favourite Wellness Turkey for dinner and mom even gave me a new mousie. Yep' it couldn't have been more perfect than that. Well, almost perfect.
I think my little bro, Kovo, has been hanging around Pansy too much. He TURNED on me yesterday - after I had been really nice and let him play with my new toy. We were batting mousie around when suddenly Kovo decided he wanted him all for himself. He plunked himself down on the floor and put his paw on MY mousie. When I approached Kovo he started to GROWL at me. I was scared! Mom just laughed and said I should be braver. That silly, little growling furball was nothing to fear. She told Kovo to play nice and made him give me back my toy. I think I heard Pansy snickering from the cat tree. Sheesh!
I wanna thank all my pawsome pals for helping to celebrate my birthday with me. Big THANK YOUS to:
Da Tabbies for the cat heart
Kibbles and family for the cat heart
Luke, Tully, Sammy & Natasha for the cat heart

I got what I was hoping for as a present today. Yep! A brand spanking new Yeowww cigar! I even got to play with it for awhile before Kovo and then Pansy slobbered all over it. Mom gave me the turkey food I love too for breakfast. It's been a happy birthday for me fur sure.

OMC!!! I won the Easter Egg Hunt. I didn't think I was gonna. Thanks HQ!
That's so cool. But not half as cool as Pansy's reaction when I showed her the newsletter. Wow! You should have heard her HISS. I didn't think a sound could be that loud and so piercing. The front windows shattered. Mom had to put Pansy in timeout. She says if Pansy doesn't snap out of it she's gonna have to take her to therapy! Mom didn't know what was going on so she asked me what Pansy and I had been up to. I just told her, "Nothing mom. Pansy's just being Pansy." I think mom believed me. *snicker*
Hey, it's not my fault if Pansy did all the hunting and then mistakenly left her secret list unguarded while she ran to the litter room. I just "borrowed" it for a minute. Just long enough to send my email to the contest. *snicker*
Big THANK YOUS to Ambro, Gimme & Ele', Angel Scooter, Samoa, Tiskers, Tessa (from SC), Zoey, Teebo & Callie and Hannah for the concatulatory rosies, gifties, pmails and comments. If Pansy was in a better state of mind, I'm sure she'd also want to thank Mercy & family for the concatulatory crown. So, on her behalf, let me meow: Thanks Mercy!
OK. Off to play with MY Ladybug :)

Wow! I'm really starting to like my new bro, Kovo! I have so much fun playing with him. Pansy is an old stick-in-the-mud. She never plays with me. She lets me groom her but she NEVER does anything for me. She is very selfish.
Kovo and I played chase this morning. We'd charge each other and jump up then chase each other some more. Fun! Mom says we're good for each other 'cause we tire each other out. Keeps us out of mischief she says.
I had a little accident this morning, though. Mom let Kovo out to play a little too soon after my breakfast. I got so excited from running around and jumping that I upchucked my breakfast on the carpet. OOoops! But, like I said, that's mom's fault. Of course I'll never hear the end of this from Pansy. She's so smug. But I know a secret about her so she better cool it or I'll tell everykitty. Yes I will!

I was just reading *PorkChop's* diary and he was giving his mom two paws down for forgetting his Gotcha Day and Catster anniversary. Well my mom has gone and done the same thing.
My Gotcha Day was Oct. 4 and my 3rd year Catster Anniversary was Oct. 8. She forgot all about it! I know why. She's been so busy trying to get my fat sis to slim down that she's completely forgotten about me. Waaaaaaaa!!
I'm a lean, mean mancat so I don't need my mom. No way!
WAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
*rubs eyes*
Happy belated Gotcha Day and Catster Anniversary, PorkChop!

I got to practice my hissing again this evening. I even tried out my growl. I'm a very fierce boy!
The neighbour's doggy came by my basement window again while I was sitting there and tried to stick her big wet nose in my face. I wasn't having any of that so I puffed myself up and hissed with all my might. I even let out a good growl for good measure. Miss nosey doggy did not take the hint so I made my next move, sure to scare her away. I backed up on the windowsill, prepared to lunge at her. I backed up a little more, hissing all the while. I backed up just a little more prepared to fly at the doggy......and I fell off the windowsill onto the floor. PLOP!
Grrrrrrr. Maybe next time...

Wow, I surprised mom today. She had opened one of the basement windows that has a sill right at the level of the ground outside. I was sitting there enjoying the air when the next door neighbour's doggy came sauntering up to the screen. Oooo, I couldn't let her get that near MY house so I starting hissing at her. Really loud hissing . Mom came running to se what the problem was. She knew I wasn't having a fight with Pansy 'cause there was none of my sis' prima donna screeching to be heard.
Mom laughed at me when she saw what was going on. The doggy was just standing there with her big nose pressed against the screen while I was all puffed out and letting her know she was not welcomed. Mom rescued, er, scooped me off the window sill and told me to calm down. She's never ever heard me hiss before, even when Pansy smacks me around and hisses at me. If she hadn't interfered I know I would have scared that big doggy away. Oh well. It was good that I got to practice my manly hiss. It's very impressive.
