We got an early notice that my pal, Hazel Lucy, is making her journey to the bridge today.

All her angel pals have been busy getting ready for her arrival. Rocky Ann shined up the pink Welcome sign. Dude Kitty said he would make sure her heart basket is ready at the gate when she arrives.

Sugar is getting her signed up for orientation, and Spunky has been crocheting a nice tranquility blanket for her to chillax on in the Catster Club tonight.

What can a cat say about Hazel Lucy? She is a Catster LEGEND! Is there anycat that doesn't know Hazel Lucy? She started the Purr thread, and if we didn't have that purr thread that Boxie Brown now takes care of, we wouldn't have had so many miracles around here.

Is there anycat that doesn't have a tranquility blanket? If we didn't have those tranquility blankets, this place would be all untranquil!

Is there anycat that hasn't appreciated all the notices about recalls and bad stuff we should avoid? HL has kept us informed, and that is going to be her major job when she becomes an angel. All the cats on earth will still need to know about stuff like this, so she is going to be busy up here at the bridge!

And who told us all about Calming Collars, and how to officiate at a wedding, and how to have the first Catster wedding, and being in love, and taking trips, and giving me opportunities to roll my eyes?

It is Hazel Lucy . . . . . and we are going to be so sad for her Mom when she makes her journey. She has given Hazel Lucy such a great life, and we are proud to have her as a friend.

Please keep her Mom in your purrs all day and for a long time because she is going to miss Hazel Lucy so much. I know Buddie is very excited to be reunited with HL, and I'm going to let him hold the Welcome sign to greet her.

Calvin that is a great idea to have Buddie hold the welcome sign for his Hazel Lucy. I think it is polished to purrfection for her arrival. I know HL will be happy we are all here to greet her. It will make her Mommy feel a little bit better that HL will no longer be in any pain.

Hugs to HL's Mommy because she will miss her so very much.

Oh Calvin!!! I am so glad that you and Rocky Ann and and and Buddy and and and all the kitties will be there to welcome Miss Hazel Lucy. Mommy's eyes are leaking and reading your post made them leak a little less. We are so sad around here but know that you all will make sure HL gets her basket of hearts!

Calvin, I don't know (or if you mom knows) how much comfort your words from the Bridge mean to those who are left grieving. My mom is grateful that you'll be there for me when my time comes.

I don't know where I would be without my calming collar. My collar has made a huge difference in my life. I owe that to Hazel Lucy. We don't have a tranquility blanket, I wish we did. We never got around to ordering one though. We wish we did, we'd love to have a little bit of Hazel Lucy to cuddle up with right now. We miss her so. You take good care of her at the bridge Calvin and all you angels. We're making sure our angels Dinah and Eva are there to help you out in anyway they can. Hazel Lucy deserves the best.

Great Tribute..You always make us smile....we are so sad to hear about our Hazel Lucy....Thanks Calvin, you are a true friend for always remembering all of us angels and keeping everyone posted on how things are going...reminding us all that we still live on....Kisses, Ava
