Yep, its been damp and wet today. Too wet again for me to go out. In fact to wet for anyone of us to be out for long. Mom dug some more toys out for us to play with. I watched birds from the window with Ziggy and Tommy and that ginger and white cat came in to the garden three times today and while he was there the birds wouldn't come down to feed.
Mom had to pop to work today, this time to say goodbye to one of the dogs at the sanctuary who was diagnosed with liver failure on Friday but had taken a turn for the worse during sat night. Never an easy job. So we all took it easy for the rest of the day.
Its a bank holiday tomorrow, mom will be working 8am - 3pm, but we will all be waiting for her to come home. Its supposed to be wet here again tomorrow.
Zach, we are loving your story and I hear you are trying to wind up Blizzard (its very easy, hes sensitive about his mouse pouches).
Cat game no 15.
These mice appear during the human's weekly ritual of "Changing the Bed Linens." It's the perfect time to hunt for the Bed Mice which appear in many shapes and sizes just as the fresh bedding lands on the bed. It is also the best time to make sure the bottom sheet contains enough hair and dander to trigger the human's allergies later in the week. The human will usually shake the sheet toward the head of the bed. It is imperative to attack by jumping straight up and landing on the sheet as it floats downward. This action ensures that the sheet will land over the Bed Mice, which can be seen as lumps or an occasional small hill on the bed. These small, tasteless, but usually colorful mice can be pummeled into oblivion by the use of the rapier swipe or the one-two hind kick, employing one or both back legs. If you're not quick, the human slave may find you've flattened too many Bed Mice and make the bed with you in it. This can be difficult to get out of, especially if the human makes the bed in a military manner, uses hospital corners on the sheets and blankets, and tucks in everything up to the pillows. You may instead be escorted to the door and locked out of the room for your efforts. In that case other, more devious and hazardous methods will be needed to install the necessary Cat hair, such as burrowing under the covers while the humans are in bed, or going after the Bed Mice when the human is making the bed in the morning.

HRUMPH.I's says!!!! HRUMPH!!!!!
It started out foggy here this morning which was interesting but spooked both Sleeper and I a little. But then it just turned dreary gray and damp chilly yucky. Mama says it's supposed to be nice tomorrow - hope it is for you too.
it stormed non stop and heavy rains from this morning till this afternoon. and the trees were waving and wind was making waves in streets. it was like we were living in monsoon.
I love hunting for bed mice like that - hee hee!
Congrats on your DDP! We've had lots of rain lately ourselves. It's purrty soggy here though sunny today. I like to help make the bed and hunt for those bed mice! Another diary which made us giggle!
