Arrival Story:
Adopted from a rescue shelter in January 2005. Hobbes lived with an elderly person who became unable to care for his/her 2 cats. He lived at the shelter for a little over a month before he decided to come with us.

Bio:
Hobbes is missing half of his left ear...the vet thinks he may have gotten caught in some machinery (like a car belt) due to the clean slice. He likes to play and pounce, and sometimes baits us with a pathetic cry from the hallway. When we go to check on him, he attacks from the office doorway! When we stay out too long for his liking, we get reprimanded upon our arrival. He is pretty sensitive to our emotions and will give headbutts and purring rather than play bites and pouncing when he senses a sad or bad mood. He wants us to think he doesn't care for the dog, but I've caught them napping together on more than one occasion...
