Update on Tiger!

Tiger is in full recovery from his ankle injury. His speed of recovery indicate this was most likely a bad sprain and was not a dislocation. He now runs and jumps with no more limp.

I put up a photo up because he was such a good little trooper. He would lay on his side and play with his mousy. I had to put a string on it as he kept batting it into his water dish or litter pan.

He is a wonderful kitten!

Our New Cat Ladder

Meee-ooow!

We have our very own ladder so no one has to jump from on top of our house anymore. We told Tiger not to but Oh-No! He said" "I am a Big Cat and can make that jump no problem. Watch. Wheee... OWWWW!"

OK our big brofurs and Pops built this for us so no repeats. I think Pops was a little funny about putting the coverings on it. The wood he used too! The polstery not so much!

So Bye! Have to play!

*Tiger is very rambunctious. He is being good and playing while laying on his side*

Pops"No tiger you have to heal up. Maybe in a week"

Pops: "No it isn't. We want that ankle to heal strong. Here is a great toy for your very own special little room with the big soft bed"

How in the world did you even get up there?" Now dere no steppy stoll or nuttin so, bein a cat, I knowed dey jus leap to da cage side den climb da rungs toda topper. Now dating iz; kittens not too good at gettin back down.

So afta deyz down Pops does da count, 1 2 3 4 ?? Where is Tiger? So he lookee and dere Tiger! Back unner da table wit dat foots dat be stickin out.

Dat Quietude gone!! Pops he upset now! He knowed dat Tiger not be waitin to getta help down. He jump lak a big Kittee. Not smart Dood. Pop say: "Vet Run." am putten Tiger inis shirt lak papoose(wat dat anyhoo?) an get dat ting I HATE da cat jail. He putta Tiger in an dey gone. All quiet las naght.

So dat Tiger Back. He getta own houz. No Fair! Pop say "Dr said it was dislocated ankle. Best to let nature take its course and check in a week. Rest and relaxation is needed and some pain medication if he needs it".

So.

Dat Tiger now da one widda story to tell. Glad he will be OK.

We are up early and eat around 6:30a.
We come out and play about 7:30-8a to about 9:30a
We come out in the afternoon for a few hours after snacks
We are back in for dinner at about 5:30-6:30
We have lights out at 9p

So you can see us in close to real time.

Exciting cause we got new picatures

Tiger:"OK so we got a little frisky after breakfast and... well... I mean it all worked out when Pops came in and fixed the house N all."
Marmaluke:"Didja see me jump to the desk? Didja? Hey how about me showing you all how to get the ball out from under the jungle gym!"
Shadow:"We knew how already! See I can just get in there too!"

Pops: We ate a big breakfast and then had a real high level of energy today. They were all pushing for a pet at the end of play time and were out napping in 5 minutes.

Monsters or "Death by Vacuum"

**They all sit and lay in a bunch after breakfast and a good play time**

Phantom: "Hey that big noisy thing was not so bad"

Shadow: "Yeah, you say that now, I saw you jump in the air"

Phantom:"Did Not"

Shadow: "Did too"

Marmaluke: "Not me! I just made sure I kept an eye on it though"

Orange Paw: "Yeah, You have to keep an eye on loud monsters"

Tiger: *big yawn* "Whats a monster?"

Phantom: "Well... I... Something big and scary"

Shadow: "Pops is big?"

Marmaluke: "He is not scary though."

Phantom: "OK lets Vote. Was that a Monster? Lessee... No, No, No, Yes, huh, Tiger stop that, you don't even know what a monster is! OK, No, then... 4 No and I make 5. That loud thing was NOT a monster and we will no longer be scared! Agreed! OK"

Tiger"Nap Time"

**All agree, get a head scratch from Pops and drift off**

Pops:"OK. Works well. We have had 4 days of running a small hand vacuum at the end of play time when every one is back in the cage. I have just been letting it run while I write a bit on the office computer. They were quite used to the noise and were a little wide eyed at the bigger vacuum but not really upset. I put a snack in with them when I started the vac but they did not touch it until I was finished cleaning the office and turned it off. Then they snacked and all laid down for a nap. Great. No "Death by vacuum" for this bunch when they grow up."
Pops is purring.

Piranha Kits

** They all DEMAND Breakfast Tiger takes the floor**

Tiger: "OK Pops... Lets have it. You are 5 minutes late this morning! Lets go already!"

Pops: "Ya know... Aw fer-git-it... Youz guyz are kinda demanding with all I do fer ya ya know. Look Howz about 2 cans this morning?"

All in unison: "Now yer talkin!"

Pops: "Whew, Glad they like me, they did that in in 5 minutes"

Of course they all have a really nice play time after a 30 minute break for meals to settle. They love little balls with bells and come running when the bells ring. Being kittens they chase something else in 20 seconds so a good long thin rope with a paper towel mousie tied to the end is their favorite. They Zoom back and forth chasing the paper mouse that Pops pulls across the floor. They still fall over when chasing a flying object so we stay on the floor. They are all using the litter pan and no misses for a few days...
