Why is our cat using the bathroom on the bed??

We have a 3 yr. old Siamese who uses the bathroom on the kids' bed, but not ours. She also likes to use the bathroom around the litter boxes. This wasn't happening till not long ago. We have 5 other cats, but again, this wasn't happening before. Any ideas? Thanks.:) BTW, the litter boxes are clean and she does use them, but does the other spots, too. :/

First of all, you need to take her to your vet to have her checked for a bladder infection. Anytime there is a change in behavior, we always suggest a vet visit to make certain there are no health issues. It's common for a cat to "mark" or pee in inappropriate spots when they feel there are too many cats in the house. She will continue to use inappropriate places to pee if she scents herself or others there. Clean up the spots thoroughly with an enzymatic cleaner like Natures Miracle, or even oxy powder from the grocery laundry aisle Leave the cleaner on the spots for at least 2 hours and then scrub up. Wash bedding in hot water/bleach if possible. Make sure you have 1 litter box per cat and one extra.
