why has my cat George been sneezing a lot for about a week

hes an indoor rescue cat that was born out side i have had him for 3 years & hes never been out side we live in Fl and had a cold spell he likes to sit in the window to watch the birds & lizards could he have a cold & should i worry he has no fever & he is eating & drinking
