What great timing! Aden's still a kitten but at his age, 5 months, I would NOT use crazy to describe him anymore! :D (BTW: Neuter apt. is next month) He was the poster child for crazy when we got him at 7 weeks, and he still plays, but has completely stopped random mrows/running around like a mad man in the middle of the night, not interested in pouncing us while we're trying to go to sleep, not flying off the curtains, he doesn't attack our feet anymore, (just gets caught up in them), and currently, he's purring on my lap - so, there's hope!:D

Um, sometimes cats are hyper, but typically, you will calm down. All cats are uniqe. I didn't calm down for a long time. But I think you will. I find kitten antics, amusing. Good luck.

Like you said all kittens are diffrent. With my neighbors kitty he is just a wild crazy kind of guy, but about when he turned one he started slowing down still crazy boy but a bit more snuggly sleepy and growing up. xox-Mags-xox

I agree, most cats calm down around a year old and neutering should help. Some cats never totally outgrow kittenhood though. I was very energetic and wild too. My registered name is Hurricane Linus for a reason! Neutering helped, but I'm still very energetic and playful. I have settled down some though mom thinks I will always be a kitten at heart. Tell your mom to hang in there, it will get better!

Getting neutered might help, Gordy, but I bet you'll be crazy for a while yet. Sometimes boy kitties stay wild and crazy until they are 1 year old or ever 2 years old! I myself have decided to stay a perpetual kitten: I am 5 years old and still totally nutso (Mommy's word, not mine). All my siblings have grown out of their craziness, though, so I bet I am the exception to the rule. Good luck, Gordy! You are super cute!
