What is the BEST medication treatment for a scratch on the eye, which gets better after treatment but still comes back?

My female 9 yr old otherwise very healthy cat was scratched on the eye by my other cat. Jealousy issues. She was treated with antibiotics and the meds to enlarge the iris for eye exams as pain meds. It resolves itself and then weeks later, the same issue comes up. Now vet says is an ulcer on the eye itself and it should heal. What is the safest, best way to treat this or will it continue to be chronic?
Thanks.

If your cat is under the care of a vet, it's always best to follow their advice since they have examined and know your cat and can actually see the damage to the eye itself. These kinds of injuries take time to heal. Bottom line is, if you aren't satisfied with the diagnoses and treatment your vet has provided your kitty, then you might want to consider visiting an animal opthamologist or another vet. Is it possible your jealous cat could have scratched this one again?
