what do i do to get my two lover cats back to loving each other?

i have two cats, one male(monkey) one female(babie). they love each other.
we moved them from their home where they were alone in a room, to ours where they will be in our room.
in between they got shots(first set), baths and the male neutered along with shaved.
we drive all the way home when they want nothing but to be next to each other.we put them in our room and now the female wont even go near the male, hisses and gets mean! we put him in the cage and she acts fine walks around and is adorible. take him out she hates us all. what do i do? vet says, time, i say... why if they were lovers!
but they were fine for an hour or two in the truck. its when we got home they went nuts.

Your vet is absolutely right. The male smells different now because he's been neutered, and doesn't feel well (I mean, would you feel well after surgery?). The female smells the difference and it's upsetting to her. Give them a few days, during which the boy will feel better and be back to his playful self, and she'll calm down. He probably needs the rest anyway.

Gracie's right. Your two cats are totally traumatized and need at least a week to come back down to earth! Treat them in a calm and loving manner. Don't yell at Babie when she hisses, but reassure Monkey that everything is OK, or will be. Your calmness, kindness and patience will win out with them in the end.
