My male cat sometimes twitches his his head and bites the air when he is petted on the back near his tail.

My cat loves to be brushed and petted. But if I pet/pat/scratch him on the back right nex to his tail he gets wierd. His head twitches back and forth very fast and he bites and licks the air. Is there something I should worry about?
He is aprox. 3 years old and neutered. He is an indoor cat.

Pookie Face (in memory)

He probably just does not like to be touched there. You can equate it to a person who does not like their feet (or somewhere else) touched. It could also be a sensitive spot such as funny elbow. Cheers! ^_^
