My indoor cat got out and I can't get her back in?
I adopted a wild kitten and tamed her and brought her in. She had been in from Sept. till May 29 when she tore a hole in a window screen and got out. I've only seen her twice when she came on the porch and scratched at the door. As soon as I tried to open the door to get her in, she took off. Could she turn wild again. She was well fed and would even beg for food. I think she is still around, but I want to know how I can catch her. Please help!

Call your local animal control (through your police department) and ask to borrow one of their humane traps. They will show you how to set and bait it. You will never be able to entice this kitty in. Lily Rose also is the Great Destroyer of Windowscreens and I finally just made her an outdoor cat. She knows she can spend as much daylight time outside as she wants, and she trusts me enough to come at night when called. She knows where her food is (she's not a hunter) and I always make sure there's a nice wet food or Temptations treat waiting for her whenever she comes in. She will even come and lie on my lap when I sit on the patio now. But if I were to chase her around outside, I'd never catch her. If she's not spayed, you MUST do this ASAP when you get her in. And like me, you may be doomed to a summer of air-conditioning and shut windows ;-)
