My cat snores while sleeping but sounds the same pretty much just not as loud when that serious issue?

If he has always done this, he's eating and all other systems are "go", it's probably nothing serious. However, if this is something that you've just noticed, a trip to the vets to investigate possible breathing issues is required. He may have a low-grade respiratory infection, a tumor or growth in his nasal passages or pulmonary issues that need a vet's attention. If your cat has a short snout (like a Pug or Bulldog in the dog breeds)it's possible that this is normal for him. If it concerns you or if his behavior suggests he doesn't feel well, you can always phone your vet for advice.
