Whenever there is a sudden change in behavior, we always recommend a trip or at least a call to the vet. "Looking worried" is rather vague, however. Has someone been harrassing him, such as a child or another pet? Has the weather been unusually windy or bad? Has his daily routine changed in anyw way? Cats are creatures of habit and do not like their routines disrupted. Even things that seem impossibly minor to us can cause stress and upset to our pets. Signs to watch for are lethargy, not eating, not using the litter box, hiding, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and if he is a social, friendly cat, hissing or clawing at people or other pets. If the situation gets worse, get in touch with your vet as soon as you can. Between the 2 of you, who know your cat personally, you should be able to figure out what is upsetting him.
