Cats can mask their illnesses very well- it's an instinctual gift. If you notice something, it definitely warrants a vet visit. Something else you can do is avoid scented litters, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, ban all dryer beads & incense or potpourris, pine/flowery scented floor cleaners etc. These scents can be overwhelming for animals and therefore are to be repaced with unscented varieties in homes with pets. Cats/dogs are much closer to the ground and possess a sense of smell much, much better than we do. ^_^
