my cat is always sneezing and sometimes chunks of boogers come out is this a bad thing..?

Yes it means he's got an upper respiratory infection. That's the equivalent of a human cold but can be more serious in cats and they can develop secondary infections. If he's had it for more than 10 days or if the snot is green/yellow that means he's probably got a secondary infection and you need to take him to a vet to get some antibiotics. If he's just had it for a few days and the snot is clear he should be able to fight it off. Just watch him closely to make sure he's eating (if cats lose their sense of smell they lose their appetite too) and not showing signs of a secondary infection. If he does taking him into a vet.

My cat was doing the same thing.. You need to take it in to the vet.. A round of antibiotics should take care of it. You don't want to let it go so long that the drainage moves into its lungs.
