First of all, you need to determine if she has a health concern or if this is simply her way of volcalizing. Izzie has a whole song book of squeaks, creaks,meows and other sounds and after almost 4 years, I know what he wants just by his meows. Most cats are the same way. Lizzie, on the other hand, is a snorer. Now, there are no health issues with either of them. Both are active and healthy. If you notice your cat is wheezing loudly, sneezing, her eyes are cloudly or runny,she's not eating, very lethargic, hiding and just seems out of sorts, the only thing you can do is take her to the vet. Dosing her yourself without knowing what her issue is with (heaven forbid) human cold or allergy meds, could prove fatal. Your vet may suggest something as simple as a $20 humidifier from CVS. Before you treat the problem, you need to know whether there is one.
