Yes and no, Cats can be sick at any cost eating Beef Jerkey?!....i would ask a vet first

Well, it's not poisonous. All it is is dehydrated meat. But it can be too salty and/or greasy for him and you may have a harder cleanup in the litter box if it gives him diarrhea. He can also choke on it if you give him too big a piece. Bottom line is, he should not be eating people food because it's difficult to know where to draw the line. If you want to treat him, buy treats made for cats like Temptations or Greenies and keep a few close-by to give him instead of people food.

If your cat really likes 'jerky' type treats there are some available on the market. Although it can be hard to find (and expensive) ZiwiPeak makes treats that everyone in this home enjoys.
