Since your question was cut off, it's difficult to know what you mean by "lost his mind". Cats do not like change in routine. If he's never been to your home before, he is 100% stressed out. If you have children or other animals, that's making the situation worse. If the situation is becoming impossible and even dangerous for you, your family members and/or the cat, I'd call the owner and ask if he can be placed in a cattery for your safety as well as his.
