Kitty

I have two cats and Lightening hates Kitty , but Kitty wants to be friends with her.

I got Lightening from a friend and ever since she saw Kitty she keeps hissing and growling at him. she won't go near him, but Kitty on the other hand he lays his back and pulls himself closer to her and just teases her(he's a really friendly cat) will they soon be freinds? or will Lightnening always hate him? i've had her for about two months now.

Welcome to Catster! When you try to introduce a new cat to the one you already have, you need to keep the 2 cats separated for as long as it takes, maybe a few weeks, for them to become "interested" in each other. If you just put one on the floor in the same room with Kitty, Kitty will see Lightening as an "invader" in her territory. You need to keep Lightening in a room with a litter box/food/water/toys and wait until Kitty shows interest in what's in "that" room. Your vet can help you out a lot with introducing new kitties to each other. If you don't have a vet, since you now have 2 kitties, now would be a real good time to get one.
