I have a female cat about 10 years old. Husband found what he thought was a tick on her belly & pulled it off. It's not

We also found about 4 more on her belly, they are small, brown and hard, pull out without pain, but are not ticks (or any other kind of bug). They almost appear to be growing "out" of her skin, almost like a skin tag that "died." I have no clue what these are. Has anybody ever seen anything like this? She is a Maine Coon. I am going to call the vet tomorrow.
