I have a 7 y/o raggamuffin cat. She has food issues where if you leave food out, she will eat, yack, then eat some more

This question is about introducing a younger dog to an older cat. I need some direction as to what to do to get them to possibly live together.

Food should not be a problem. Royal Canin just came out with a ragdoll food that's at PetsMart that you can try. The dog will do great on Natural Choice lamb and rice depending on his age and size. Nutro is the sister company of Royal. If the Ragdoll cat food does not work or is not liked then try Natural Choice Indoor Senior in the purple bag in either fish or chicken flavor. Feed them both 2x a day in separate bowls. Leave the food bowls down for 20 minutes and then pick them up. Do it again at night; the amount for feeding on the side of the bag goes by age and activity level- divide that in half for 2x a day feeding. The animals will learn to eat at mealtime and not graze all day. Watch them at first to make sure they're not switching foods. ^_^
