I am bran new to this site, 1 wk, and I would like to ask if anyone knows where I could obtain a catgenie.

I have a disabillity that is worsening and it is getting harder and harder to keep Cricket's cat box as clean as she deserves. I am on a very low monthly income, less than $8400 per year. If anyone can give me a suggestion on how to help with the situation, I would greatly appreciate it. Giving her up is not an option. We would be lost without each other.
Thank you
bjl

I'm not sure where you live, but it may be possible to get a donation from an area pet store, the disability office or a vet's office-even a humane society. I would also look at other ways to clean the box-even considering less litter in the box in trash bag that you can just pull out and throw away. Cats only need about an inch or so.

Cleo is right. Also, you may want to check with your local shelter, high school or even churches to see if they can provide someone to come and help with Cricket's care. Many high school kids need to get service hours to graduate and this would be a good way for them to do it. Many shelers and animal rescue organizations will do community outreach if they know you are dedicated to your animal (which it sounds like you are) and trying to do the right thing by her. There may be a volunteer who lives close-by who would be willing to stop by and clean the box for you. God bless and good luck.
