Dark colored cats do not cause allergies more than light colored cats so I am not sure where you got that information. There is no such thing as an orange Ragdoll cat. Ragdolls are colorpoint cats which means they are primarily white with darker colors on their ears, face, tail etc. They do come in Flame Point which would have red (orange) points. Their price will have a range based on the breeder. If they show and their cats are champions, then they may be more expensive. My breeder is a vet and her kittens are around $700. You need to be careful to find a reputable breeder because Ragdolls are prone to cardiomyopathy (HCM) and a kitten from breeders who do not test for that will be at a higher risk for the disease. Try Google and do a search on "ragdoll kittens" along with your location to find breeders. You can also try visiting a TICA cat show to meet breeders and ask about the breed.
