How do you hold a Siamese cat

I heard Siamese cats don't like being picked up, but I really want to pick her up. Also, I dont know if I've been holding my other cat correctly, with his belly up. He doesn't like it much. Help.

If he doesn't like being belly up then i would say just dont hold him that way, just pick him up normally.
My mother has a Siamese cat who just loves being picked up, he has his spot on her shoulder ever since he was a kitten. Some cats like it and others dont. But i would stop holding the other one belly up if he doesn't like it.
