This is very difficult to do on your own. If you do not have the assistance of a animal welfare organization, find one in your area and ask them for help. If you can find the kittens, you can place them on a blanket or towel inside a trap. Mom will come to get them. But this must be done under constant surveillance. Under no circumstances should the kittens be place inside a humane trap and then left by themselves. If the kittens are mobile, this should not be done and cat food should be used instead. Trapping a mother who is protecting her babies can be dangerous and if you don't know what you're doing, even though you may be well intentioned, she could very seriously injure you. Enlist the aid of people who have experience. Good luck.
