well have you let your cat out side recently?if so you want to keep her inside and let her meow although if you cant take it gring her/him in your bed and pet him/her to calm him/her down good luck

You don't say if your cat is altered, but if he/she isn't "fixed", this needs to be done asap. Leave a small amount of food in a bowl for your cat before you go to bed as a midnight snack. Check outside to make sure there aren't critters roaming your yard which will upset him/her. Play with him/her for a while before you go to bed to wear him/her out. (But not intense, crazy play as that will make him/her hyper). When you go to bed, all of the sudden the house is quiet and dark and she/he is lonely, especially if she/he is alone all day as well. A little extra TLC may help with the issues.
