Some cats don't even get along with other cats. Some cats get along with dogs, bunnies, opossums, rats, and even mice. Personally I really enjoyed the company of guinea pigs when I was young and my brother Scooby just loved turtles!

No one can say for sure how your cat or cats would react to any particular mini pig so if you were thinking about getting one you would have to arrange with the breeder or adoption group to take it on a trial basis and watch the two of them in their interactions very closely. A baby pig that is smaller than your cat may be easier for your cat to get along with but if they fight at all it's not a good idea to keep the pig because when it gets bigger they'll really be able to hurt each other. A pig born into a home with cats may seem more agreeable to your cat as well. But like any new animal you have to take it on a case by case basis, introduce them slowly, and watch them very carefully. Good luck- if they get along they'll be adorable!

Kyle gave a good answer. But watch out generally re "mini" pigs as most are really full sized pigs and have the highest rate of surrender to shelter/rescue of all pets. The breeders will show you parent pigs who are still only a few months old and much smaller than full size. Your Mini pig will grow into a huge full sized pig weighing 200lb+ so make sure that is what you want. Contact rescues/sanctuaries to get the real story and make sure this is really a good pet for you. Best Friends has some good info.
