can u give cat's ibuprofen?

According to this website:

Cats are very sensitive to Ibuprofen and it is often toxic, leading to acute kidney failure and death.

I would NEVER give a cat anything without a vet's approval - you could harm or even kill your cat. Why do you think you cats needs this medication? Please remember that we are NOT vets here - only people who love cats. If your cat is sick, you need to go to a vet.

Absolutely NEVER give a cat ibuprofen!!! If your cat is that ill that you want to give it ibuprofen, then it needs to be seen by a vet. If you give it ibuprofen, you will be taking it to the vet anyway because it is toxic to a cat. So, just take the cat to a vet to be seen ASAP!

well asprin no. but when my cousin had to treat her tom cat the vet isssued tyloal for him and he got better
