Blue Buffalo Cat food as good as the dog food?
We feed raw, but the kittens we just rescued are really young. Until they get a little bit older, we are planning to feed them kibble with warm water. Is the blue buffalo kitten food as good as the dog food? What do you think? Or should I push the raw more? They basically just played with it, and didn't eat any of it. (was chicken).

You may want to take at least one of the kittens to the vets to make sure they are old enough to be eating solid food. Usually, Mom teaches them that when they're weaned they go on to step 2, but in your case, there is no mom. You may want to try to mix any food you decide to feed with some Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR) available at pet stores to a very soupy consistency. It's important for you to vet the kittens asap if you haven't already since you probably don't know all their history. As for the food, I'm not familiar with Blue, but it certainly sounds like a good choice.

Yes, Blue Buffalo kitten food is very good quality. I had been working with one of their reps on switching my cats to it last year but they did not seem to like it very much. I recently bought a bag of the Blue Longevity that I have been puttting in one of their bowls and nobody is touching it. I would definitely be careful of raw food with kittens. Their delicate little tummies can not always handle it and unless you are adding the necessary vitamins and things like taurine then it doesn't contain all the nutrition they need.
