Are white cats more prone to health problems?

I know about white cats and the possibilities of deafness in those that have blue eyes, but I recently heard that white cats tend to have more health issues than other colors. Does anyone have any information on this?

They are more prone to sunburn than cats with pigmented skin. They are also more prone to skin cancer because of this. But it is not as much of a concern if they are kept indoors during the course of their lifetime.
