Emily was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and lives in the country outside the city with her husband and small zoo of 3 dogs, 4 cats, and 22 chickens.  Emily has been in the pet and veterinary industry for 8 years. She has worked as a veterinary technician in multiple different hospital settings such as ophthalmology, general practice, large animal, emergency medicine, and surgery. She also writes articles and films informational videos for various pet companies covering various subjects from medical information, product recommendations, and breed overviews.  Emily’s other passion other than veterinary medicine is aviation. She has attended pilot school and frequently flies with her brother-in-law (who is also a pilot) in his airplane.
